If you could make a magic wish for a futuristic gadget or high-tech innovation, what would your item do?

My next generation gadget
would employ technologies from the realms of social networking, digital content delivery, and RSS feeds. Of course my device is closely related to today's DVR with the difference being that it is a converged device with access to all manner of digital media. Ideally, my Media Retrieval & Storage (MRS) device would access a community driven tagging system that enables me to pick and chose what content that I want downloaded to my system over the next night, week, and month. My tagging system would interface with a variant of the RSS feed system to keep the MRS library current. Why store the content? Bandwidth. Bandwidth would be the only barrier to instant HD content streams - which necessitates a storage or deep caching mechanism. This comes in handy for 'offline' consumption as well.
For example:
I'm a Kiefer Sutherland mark so I would want one of my feeds connected to all things tagged as 'Kiefer+Sutherland'. Being an RSS feed, I would have access to current episodes of "24" plus news reports, celebrity news, YouTube videos, and blog mentions (like the 24 group on Vox).
To prevent spam
or other undesirable content I should be able to use some boolean operators and set a threshold for tags not unlike the reputation/karma system employed by some user driven news web sites. At the end of the day this device has to be dead simple to operate. It would have both grandma and geek operating modes.

This sounds cool.
I'll Google about 3 months and I'm sure they'll have it ready to go.
