I just watched King on youtube making those comments. I do agree with him, on his point that CNN and other stations have given Michael Jackson too much coverage at the expense of other very important news. As for his comments regarding Jackson's character, I thought they were inappropriate, and can't have won him possible votes, white or black. Maybe he never heard the rule: "Never speak ill of the dead". Jackson was cleared of the molestation charges, and though his private life seems to have been a bit strange, I will remember him for his music and performances.
